CCSU Business School Building

The Department of Public Works hired Downes Construction as the Construction Administrator for the School of Business at CCSU. The new 85,000 square foot, five story building consisted of a steel frame structure with both precast and brick facade, aluminum window systems and a copper roof. The stair towers are adorned with a dramatic curtain wall system and the interior finishes included terrazzo flooring and cherry trim. A connecting bridge adjoins the building with a new 420 car-parking garage.
